Paul demonstrates ripping 1/4" strips from the same piece of cherry - cleanly, efficiently, and safely, with no leftover waste . Paul reveals his secret of how to prepare and create the saw kerf on the ZCI for your table saw without the extra work or trouble of sitting the ZCI in the opening - a real nifty trick to simply your life. Paul demonstrates resawing on the table saw with the GRR-Ripper®, no sanding is required afterwards. A riser block is added under the Balance Support for wider stock. Paul shows you how the GRR-Ripper® handles a bevel cut with the keeper piece being fed safely between the fence and the underside of the saw blade on a right tilting table saw.
Note: Do not attempt this set up without the GRR-Ripper®! Using Model GR-200 with an Adjustable Spacer, Paul shows you how to make a straight cut (pencil cut line) parallel to the grain pattern of a small irregularly-shaped board. Pay close attention to the shape of the right edge of the stock in Paul's right hand. Due to the shape of the right edge, only a small portion of the 1/2" Leg is on top of the work piece. The Adjustable Spacer with the smooth side down serves as a guide against the fence as well as a support to prevent the GRR-Ripper® from tipping over towards the fence. The work piece now has a straight edge parallel to the grain. The GRR-Ripper® (Model GR-200 in most situations) can help you make a straight cut in any orientation on flat stock, regardless of its shape.
