Adolph claims that because the GRR-Ripper® is as such an accurate and precise tool, he now can work more efficiently than ever before. In the video, Adolph shows you how to use the GRR-Ripper® to precisely rip veneer strips to build a checkerboard. Did you ever wonder how you can easily and precisely cut thin narrow veneer strips and turn them into diamond patterns? Check out the next two pictures. The diamond pattern surfaced jewelry boxes shown in Picture 3 require many identical 1/8" wide strips. The GRR-Ripper® not only enables you to complete this task faster than if you used the traditional veneer knife, Adolph CONSISTENTLY produces stripes of EXACTLY the same width.
Now you can perfectly dimension those fussy repeatable geometric patterns as shown on the jewelry boxes in Picture 3. Adolph achieves each identical diagonal cross cut in less than a few seconds with the GRR-Ripper®. Adolph uses the GRR-Ripper® to cut the solid inlay border used on his jewelry box shown at the right hand side in Picture 3. How did one ever manage to do a decent job the old way - using push sticks? Adolph illustrates the difference between the two Solid Inlays produced with the GRR-Ripper® and with regular Push Sticks. Cutting thin, fancy inlay strips from Solid Surface Material is almost an impossible job without the GRR-Ripper®.
