Craig demonstrates the importance of a properly adjusted Balance Support. Craig shows several handle locations in order to acheive balanced pressure. Ken shows the advantage of securing the handle in a skewed position. Craig & Ken show two simple ways to keep the surface of the Non-Slip Pads clean and working effectively. Craig & Ken demonstrate the "leapfrogging" technique with two GRR-Rippers® when ripping long boards. A simple small scrap block can be added to the rear slot of the GRR-Ripper® for feeding uneven surfaced or slippery surfaced material. Extremely easy to make, it takes seconds to install or remove.
Unlike using contact points that require trial and error screw adjustments, the ZeroPlay Guide Bar is a shorter version of the typical miter jig bar for sleds and shop jigs. A single forward push automatically expands it to exact width for a custom fit to your machine, contacting both side walls of the miter slot for a PERFECT fit. Craig cuts a taper using the jig and two GRR-Ripper® GR-200s - more product details to follow. Ken creates an alignment saw kerf on the set-up board. The Drill Guide is attached to the alignment saw kerf, enabling Ken to precisely drill the splitter location holes on the ZCI. The Splitter is installed by plugging it into the drilled location holes - perfectly aligned behind the saw blade!
