Ken demonstrates using the GRR-Ripper with one of the Side Legs removed for full profile edge routing.

The GRR-Ripper was lifted from the stock after the cut, showing a gap between the stock and the fence. The GRR-Ripper holds the stock in its original position and prevents the stock from dropping into the out feed fence at the end of the cut, which would create snipe.

You can also control the stock from the left edge with the Balance Support lowered against the left edge of the stock. This application works on situations where it is not required that the GRR-Ripper is in contact with the fence as a guide. The right edge of your stock remains in contact with the fence at all times - for use when cutting a round over or rabbit without a ball bearing guide on your router bit. A user-made trailing block is added for more control when feeding shorter stock.

Ken demonstrates the use of the GRR-Ripper (Model GR-200) to control routing a slot. The Stabilizing Plate serves as a second fence to box-in the stock, thus preventing the high speed router bit from pulling the stock out of control.

Ken demonstrates how to duplicate a shape using a template and a ball bearing guided flush cutting router bit. The GRR-Ripper is used to securely navigate the odd shaped stock through the process, while the Balance Support plays an important role to stabilize the piece while maneuvering.

The GRR-Ripper also provides great control and better yield on the Band Saw when making veneer cuts.

The GRR-Ripper not only gives you much more solid control when compared to other types of pushers, it also isolates some of the vibration so it is easier on your hand.
