Slide 1 - When your GRR-Ripper gets really dusty, give it a bath!Materials needed:
1. Either denatured alcohol or rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl)
2.A bucket large enough to accommodate the whole GRR-Ripper with an air-tight sealed lidThe airtight sealed bucket allows for proper storage of the cleaning solution for future GRR-Ripper Baths.
-
Slide 2Fill the bucket to with the denatured alcohol or rubbing alcohol to about 3”. This is about the height of the main body and the legs.
-
Slide 3You will notice that saw dust may accumulate in the grooves and tunnels of the GRR-Ripper. Instead of using compressed air to blow out the sawdust out into the air, use the GRR-Ripper bath approach to clean it to like-new condition.
-
Slide 4Take the GRR-Ripper and put it into the bucket filled with cleaning solution.
-
Slide 5Swish the GRR-Ripper in the cleaning solution allowing the solution to flow through the nooks and crannies of the GRR-Ripper.
-
Slide 6Flip the GRR-Ripper upside down and repeat the same swishing motion to clean the handle.
-
Slide 7Drip off any excessive cleaning solution into the bucket and place the GRR-Ripper on a towel to air dry. Within minutes, the GRR-Ripper will be dry and ready for action. Rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl) takes slightly longer to dry than Denatured alcohol.
IMPORTANT: If immediate uses is intended after the bath, blow dry with fan or compressed air with no heat. DO NOT use a heat gun to dry.
-
Slide 8The GRR-Ripper Bath cleans the GRR-Ripper of all the loose sawdust and is ready for GRR-Ripping Action!
Note: All hardware provided with the GRR-Ripper has been tested and will not rust with this bathing process.
