Get Your GRR-RIPPER Up to Date

All new GRR-RIPPER+, GRR-RIPPER Pro and GRR-RIPPER Max models come with the SafeRip Index™ that keeps the Center Leg out of the blade path without checks or test passes. Just set the center leg so that whatever measurement you are ripping is NOT covered by the see-through orange SafeRip Cursor.

The cursor shows you where the Center Leg of your GRR-RIPPER is and accounts for blade width as well. It is almost automatic. Here the rip fence is set to 1-1/2” (38mm) and the Center Leg is adjusted side to side, so the cursor is not covering the 1-1/2” or 38mm marks on the scale.

You can add this new upgrade to your existing GRR-RIPPERs with our SafeRip Upgrade Kit. It easily attaches to existing GR 100 or GR 200 models. Just remove the round locking knobs at each end of the Center Leg and apply the self-adhesive ruler across the end of the GRR-RIPPER Body. Align the notch in the sticker to the seam between the body and the leg to the right of the body. Reverse the GRR-RIPPER and do the same on the other end.

Next, slide the SafeRip Cursor over the threads of the Dovetail t-bolt and replace the round knob on the Center Leg. Do both ends of the Center Leg. Don’t worry if your GRR-RIPPER is older and uses a thumb screw rather than the round knob, no worries, the Kit comes with the current hardware and instructions for swapping it out.

Now every GRR-RIPPER GR100 and GR200 ever made can be upgraded with the SafeRip Index so you never cut the Center Leg again. And if your Center Leg has met the blade a few times. This would be a great time to swap it out for a fresh new one.
