Microjig Founder and inventor, Henry Wang, started out in his garage workshop in the late 90s. Faced with the challenge of cutting thin strips on a table saw, he sought to create a solution to cut small parts safely, accurately, and consistently. After countless engineering hours and dozens of prototypes, the Grr-ripper® pushblock was born.
Three directions of force.

- Downward pressure stabilizes work piece on a flat surface.
- Inward pressure against the fence virtually eliminates kickback.
- Forward pressure feeds stock consistently through the cut to eliminate burning and blade marks.
Virtually eliminates kickback on table saws.
Kickback occurs when the workpiece strays from the fence and gets pinched between the saw blade and the fence. The rear teeth of the blade grab the workpiece, turning it into a dangerous projectile. The only way to avoid kickback is to maintain control of your workpiece through the entire cut.
The Grr-ripper+™ provides downward and inward pressure, keeping both sides of the cut parallel to the blade. This prevents the workpiece from straying from the rip fence, virtually eliminating kickback.

The secret behind the GRR-RIPPER's unmatched control is its proprietary Green GRR-RIP® material. Over time, sawdust, pitch, oils, and wax build up on the gripping surface, a dark residue on the legs is the tell, and that buildup reduces the traction you rely on for safe, precise cuts.

The GRR-RIP ReNew is a cleaning station that wipes sawdust off your GRR-RIPPER legs when dry and deep-cleans the Green GRR-RIP® material with ordinary rubbing alcohol. It mounts right at your saw, in the fence-rail gap or a MATCHFIT slot, and a built-in magnet holds your alcohol bottle close at hand.

Why does my GRR-RIPPER need a cleaning station?
Because grip is the whole job. Sawdust brushes off, but wax from your tabletop and resin from your wood slowly embed microscopic dust into the Green Grip — that's the black buildup — and a slick GRR-RIPPER is a GRR-RIPPER that slips. Clean grip is safe grip.
How do I use it?
Two ways. Dry, for everyday cleanup: sweep your GRR-RIPPER across the pad one-handed while you work, and knock the ReNew clean when you're done. Wet, for deep cleaning: add a little alcohol to the pad, make a couple of passes, wipe the Green Grip with a clean cloth — buildup lifts away and the grip comes back to like-new.
What kind of alcohol?
Denatured alcohol or rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol — the same cleaners recommended for Green Grip material all along. A little on the pad is all it takes.
Which GRR-RIPPERs does it work with?
All of them. If it wears the Green Grip — AIR generation, current models, or the legacy GRR-RIPPERs you've had for years — the ReNew cleans it.
Will it fit my saw?
The front legs are designed to drop into the gap between the fence rail and the table on most cabinet saws, and two set screws in the front leg fine-tune the fit to your saw's exact gap — so it lives right where you use your GRR-RIPPERs.
What if my saw doesn't have that rail gap?
Use the notch. The bottom of the front leg fits the standard MATCHFIT Dovetail Groove, so you can mount the ReNew on a dovetailed worktop, or rout a quick plate to clamp it to a jobsite saw — anywhere in your shop.
Do I have to remove it to work?
No — that's the point of the mount. It sits at the saw, out of the cut path, ready for a one-handed pass between cuts.
Is the cleaning pad replaceable?
Yes. Pop the retaining plates off each end and swap in a fresh pad in seconds — the station lasts, only the pad renews.
Can it clean anything besides GRR-RIPPERs?
It moonlights nicely. Light rust on a chisel, dried glue on a screwdriver, residue on hand tools — the pad handles light restoration jobs right at the saw.
How often should I clean?
Make the dry pass part of normal use, whenever chips collect. Go wet when the Green Grip starts to darken or feels slick — don't wait until it's fully black.
